Please remember to utilize the preview button, we don't need several minor edits clogging up the recent changes page. Also, if you are making small edits (like the ones you've been making to the Spike Witwicky (G1) article), I would suggest checking the "This is a minor edit" box before saving, as this helps filter out the larger edits from the minor ones, depending on other users' preference setups. Another reminder
This is another reminder to use the preview button before saving an edit, we don't need multiple tiny edits in a single article taking up a bunch of space in the recent changes log. Greatshot/JG1
Hi, I'm not sure why you removed the entire Victory section from Greatshot/JG1. I'd suggest if you're going to make a major change to an article like that, you should at least include some explanation in the Summary field, and possibly bring it up on the relevant talk page first. --abates (talk) 06:37, 25 May 2022 (EDT)
- My edits to Greatshot's page were a futile attempt. I remembered in Greatshot's Main Page that his information on his "Victory" section had a style used for when a character has a sub-page of that fiction while the main page has a shortened edition. However, at the time, the main information about Greatshot was in Sixshot's page. Being very naïve, I tried to delete that info and try to find the shortened edition that linked to Greatshot as the main article, but I was new and unexperienced.Primal primus the second (talk) 08:58, 2 October 2025 (EDT)
Don't edit other people's User pages
Look, it's one thing to link-fix or replace a to-be-deleted image on another user's page, that's simple maintenance. But there's no reason to do the kind of editing you did to Adamcs's page, especially as it's been untouched for over a decade. Don't do that again. --M Sipher (talk) 16:20, 3 September 2025 (EDT)
- The reasons for me changing his page was because I was put off by how cluttered his "shop" was (text was not properly segmented, and images were not given direct links). Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh. Listen, I understand your concerns about my contributions. The thing is, my account was offline for some time before I rejoined, and even when I was originally active, I was still very new to editing and making pages. The reasons for my edits were these:
- My edits to Greatshot's page were a futile attempt. I remembered in Greatshot's Main Page that his information on his "Victory" section had a style used for when a character has a sub-page of that fiction while the main page has a shortened edition. However, at the time, the main information about Greatshot was in Sixshot's page. Being very naïve, I tried to delete that info and try to find the shortened edition that linked to Greatshot as the main article, but I was new and unexperienced.
- The reason I didn't set my small changes to pages as minor edits was because I was, and am still quite new to being an editor on Tfwiki.net. Due to this, i would forget to tick my minor contributions as minor edits.
- The reasons for me changing his page was because I was put off by how cluttered his "shop" was (text was not properly segmented, and images were not given direct links). I deeply regret my changes to Adamcs' user page. Like I said before, I am still new to this site, and I'm still trying to get the hang of it.
I sincerely apologise for recklessly changing pages without consulting proper guidelines. All I ask for is forgiveness for my mistakes, and I assure you, I will make sure not to edit Users' pages and to consult guidelines and page histories for better results that are precise yet comfortable to the Tfwiki.net Community.
