Felipe Smith (born 1978 in Akron, Ohio) is a comic book artist. He was raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and educated at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. After working at JRL Enterprises as an animator, and coloring for Dreamwave Productions, he entered Tokyopop's Rising Stars of Manga competition and won second place. This led to him creating MBQ, about a comic artist in Los Angeles, which was published by Tokyopop. In 2008, he moved to Japan and created Peepo Choo, which is now published in comic magazine Morning 2.
