Sunstorm is a member of the Rising Sea, and was present when Flamewar drunkenly eulogized their recently-deceased captain Cannonball. Like the rest of his crew, Sunstorm continued to serve under Flamewar and Slipstream. Shattered Glass II #4

In the present day, Sunstorm flew into battle with the rest of Flamewar's team to fight Rodimus. Sunstorm did not participate much in the battle. Shattered Glass II #3 He was presumably fighting with the rest of the Decepticons during the climactic battle for Metroplex, and was present in welcoming Soundwave after his survival. Notes

• Sunstorm is a (slight) virtual redeco of the Siege Voyager Class Starscream toy, which is notable because his fellow Seeker Slipstream turned into a Earthen-style jet.
• His deco layout appears to be inspired by Universe Sunstorm, who made an appearance in Fun Publications' Shattered Glass prose story "Coalescence". Except... that Sunstorm wasn't a mirror-universe character, but rather a visitor from a normal, positive-polarity universe. So it's sort of a "pigeon with the head of a horse and the body of a horse" situation.
