Activate Your Alt Mode
On July 25, 2025, a video was uploaded to the Hasbro Pulse YouTube channel announcing the next fan vote, with franchise-legend Frank Welker explaining that the winner of the vote was to receive a new toy with a fan-selected alternate mode. The options were briefly shown in the video, but more information was revealed on Instagram on August 11.
The voting was held using Instagram's poll feature and was split into 3 rounds over the course of 16 days. The first round started on August 12 to decide which character would receive a new alt-mode, starting with the Autobot contenders and moving to the Decepticons the next day. Grimlock and Shockwave won their respective votes, and were put against each other on August 14, with Shockwave announced as the winner the next day.
