- The Transformers Whirl came with a black weapon resembling a Gatling gun, identified as a shell cannon in his instructions, that fits on his right wing in helicopter mode.
Notes
- Whirl's packaging bio notes that he is armed with four incendiary-shell cannons and a particle beam rifle. This suggests that the writers confused the toy's four-barreled photon beam rifle with its more Gatling gun-like shell cannon. This change was reflected in both Whirl's unpublished Marvel Universe profile[1] and his Dreamwave More than Meets the Eye profile.
