Bernard Alane

Bernard Alane (b. December 25, 1948) is a French actor and singer. On screen, he notably played in 1969 Paul Fournier "the Hibernated" in Édouard Molinaro's Hibernatus.

In addition to his numerous roles in theater (he performed in about fifty different plays) and films, he is also very active in dubbing. He is the regular French voice of Stanley Tucci, Stephen Tobolowsky, Gregory Itzin, Ray Liotta, and Patrick Bauchau.

He is very well known in cartoon dubbing and singing, and his roles include the French voice of the singing Peddler in Disney's Aladdin, Clopin Trouillefou and Victor in the The Hunchback of Notre Dame films, Owl in many Winnie the Pooh media, Professor Z in Cars 2, the Duke of Weselton in the Frozen films, and the new regular voice of Getafix in various Astérix media.
