[edit]Just like with last year’s special, this issue contains three stories, each one representing the series that make up the Energon Universe up to this point:
- A sixteen-page G.I. Joe story focusing on following up the cliffhanger of G.I. Joe #6, by Joshua Williamson and Andrea Milana (G.I. Joe)
- A six-page Transformers story focused on Jazz and his love of music, by Daniel Warren Johnson and Mike Spicer (Transformers)
- A six-page Void Rivals story about the Quintessons preparing for war on the Sacred Ring, by Robert Kirkman and Conor Hughes (Void Rivals)
