Daburu (TR)

Daburu is an Autobot Titan Master from the Generation 1 continuity family.

"Now, count up your sins!"

Daburu is a Titan Master partnered with Twinferno. As a Titan Master, he provides his host with an Energon jolt, propelling their combat systems to peak performance.

Beast Wars: Uprising

In Beast Wars: Uprising, Daburu and White Leo are the same individual, "Daburu Leo".

An inhabitant of the colony world Rebirth, Daburu Leo was an Optimus enforcer who fought and pursued the rebel Malignus faction underground when their protests threatened the interests of the planetary oligarchy. A Brush With Infamy–Prologue

Titans Return

Available in the third wave of Titans Return Deluxes, packed in with his larger partner Twinferno, Daburu transforms from a robot modeled after the Beastformer White Leo into a head compatible with any Deluxe-or-larger Titans Return figure.

This set turned out to be a pretty major shelfwarmer.

Appropriately, Daburu was redecoed in Japan to make Legends White Leo, the small Headmaster partner of Legends Doublecross. Daburu was also retooled into Titans Return Fengul and as Legends Platinum Tiger. It was also retooled to make Dastard and Hedgehog.

Notes

• "Daburu" (ダブル) is "double" borrowed into Japanese.
• His robot mode homages White Leo, leader of the Autobot-allied Beastformers, complete with eyepatch! Because of this, Jim Sorenson combined the two character/toy concepts for Beast Wars: Uprising.
