MiÅ Tanaka
Miou Tanaka (田中 美央, Tanaka Miou; born July 4, 1974) is a Japanese actor and voice actor who is best known for appearing in Japanese films playing Yuan in the Kingdom series and perhaps is better known internationally as Tatsuo Hotta, the Captain of the Yukikaze in Godzilla Minus One. Amusingly he would also feature in the 2025 biopic of the Yukikaze playing Kōsaku Aruga.
As a voice actor Tanaka is best known for voicing Ryu José in several Gundam projects, Roy B. Dipper in Burn the Witch, Mikio Yatsuse in My Oni Girl, Han Ming in Kingdom Season 3, Juzo Nogizaka in Kaiju No. 8, Barrett in Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V, and several characters in the Yakuza series including Akinobu Uematsu, Yosuke Tendo and Raymond Law. In the world of dubbing Tanaka is the official dub voice of Benedict Wong ever since he began dubbing him as Wong in Doctor Strange, other notable roles include Vic Hoskins in The Cinema dub of Jurassic World, Lance Strongbow in Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure, Thorn in The Wild Robot, Laurent d'Alban in the Star Channel dub of The Adventurers, Danny on The Four Seasons, Alfred Pennyworth in Joker, Lord Saito in Ghost of Yōtei and Harris in Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.
