Sentius Malus

Sentius Malus is a Decepticon from the Earth Wars portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Sentius Malus is the Relic Guardian of Darkness, twin of Sentius Magnus, Relic Guardian of Light. Once, they were a single person, Sentius Nobilius, tasked by the gods themselves with safeguarding their holy relics, but Nobilius's spark was split into two, producing twins who now fight on opposing sides. Some small part of Malus still feels compelled to carry out his original mission alongside his brother, but millennia of wandering the universe after deserting his post have caused him to grow bored with monotony of eternity, valuing his own entertainment above all else. This leads him to dole out his gifts to the most unpredictable malcontents he can find in order to watch the fireworks that ensue, smugly secure in his ability to strike down his playthings once he's had his fun. He carries the glowy purple half of Nobilius's similarly split signature weapon, the Sword of Balance.

Notes

• Compared to Sentius Magnus, Sentius Malus experienced a much greater change to his colour scheme from concept to final stage.
• Early plans for the Sentius twins called for them to be Triple Changers with spider-tank and jet alt-modes.
