The National Scientific Achievement usually goes to a human rather than a Transformer. It presumably recognizes great achievements in the many fields of science.

When Perceptor received the award for his invention of corrostop, none of the other Autobots bothered to turn up to the ceremony, though their human friends Spike, Carly, and Sparkplug did. Perceptor gave a lengthy speech which left the award presenter checking his notes in confusion. Cosmic Rust
