- The inhabitants of the Legends World, a dimension spun off from the Japanese Generation 1 world, last appeared nearly seven years previous in the epilogue chapter to the Legends pack-in manga which had recently ended.

- In panel 3, Cheetor is wearing a jetpack, Optimus Primal holds a surfboard, and Rattrap's hands have become wheels in homage to their Transmetal 1 toys.
