Jetfire's visit to the Legends World brings an end to Tankor's menace.
Synopsis
Having also wound up in the Legends World, Jetfire bears witness to Tankor, Roadbuster and Whirl's renewed attacks on the city. Reflecting on his past as the peaceful scientist known as Skyfire, having changed his name after accepting the fact that sometimes fighting is the only way to protect people, he dons his battle mask and attacks the evildoers. While Tankor is busy being moved to tears by the '80s-reminiscent battle scene, Jetfire blasts the villain with his full arsenal of guns, finally defeating the villain and turning him back into Rhinox.
Whirl and Roadbuster are left uncertain what to do without their leader, so Jetfire invites them back to his home dimension, telling them they stand out too much in this world. Traveling to Jetfire's world through a solitarium portal, the two are welcomed into the Autobots by Optimus Prime and become founding members of a new Autobot unit: the Wreckers.

Notes
- "Skyfire" was of course Jetfire's name in the Generation 1 cartoon, and since the toy was never released in Japan, it's also the name Japanese fans know him by. Generation 2 later featured a character called Jetfire, implied to be same as Skyfire in Robotmasters backstory and the 15 Go! Go! comics: this issue's explanation that he changed his name serves to both confirm this and explain why the Legends toy is sold as Jetfire.
- Whirl's reason for returning to Tankor's side after his defection in volume 5 isn't mentioned. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that his eye is now colored toy-accurate red.
- Smokescreen appears among the Autobots in his Binaltech body: the Story of Binaltech took place in 2003, one year prior to the Robotmasters era Jetfire is from. This also handily confirms that the Genetronic Translink System exists in the main continuity and wasn't entirely sidelined into the BT World after the conclusion of Binaltech.
- This issue effectively introduces Whirl, Roadbuster, and the Wreckers into Japanese Generation 1 cartoon continuity. That is awesome.
