Transformers Go! Go! presents... Transformers Go! Go! BWUH!?

Synopsis

[edit]

Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are enjoying a peaceful stroll downtown when they encounter a group of overjoyed children. When Optimus asks what's got them so happy, they respond it's because they got to meet the Autobots from the manga they read! Optimus and Bumblebee are pleasantly surprised that they're starring in a manga. Back at Autobot headquarters Optimus informs the other Autobots about the new manga out in bookstores now, but it turns out Wheeljack knew about it all along, having already read it in e-book format! The Autobots all share a good laugh, unaware that Laserbeak is watching from the shadows and relaying information about the awesome new manga to Megatron and the Decepticons. Shockwave is elated that more readers will get to read about Megatron's amazing exploits, though the incessant Megatron praise grates on Starscream's audio receptors.

Optimus and Bumblebee close things out by introducing the first collected volume of Transformers Go! Go! and asking everyone to buy it to support the Autobots, while the Maximals (and Beast Megatron) also chip in and let us know they're in the manga too.

Notes

[edit]
  • This story was published as the July 2023 issue of the web comic and advertised the first collected edition of Transformers Go! Go! debuting at the end of the month.
  • Shortly after Go! Go! Volume 1's publication, Kodansha took the rather cynical step of replacing the web pages for issues #3-25 of the comic with redirects to this issue.
    • Given seven of those twenty two issues were not actually in the collection, you've technically been reading about redacted children's comics, you sexy rebel you.
  • Like, meta, man.
