Transformers Authentics is a kid-oriented toyline launched in late 2017, comprising simple figures developed for the discount market. The figures are based on the evergreen designs that Hasbro established in the same year. The line took the place of the market sixLegion Class figures from 2015.
The line features several distinct price points, though these assortments aren't identified by name on any packaging or instructions, with the names used in this article coming instead from retailer and distributor listings. Unlike other ongoing Transformers ranges, which will ship multiple waves per year, Authentics generally only updates its case assortments once every year.
Authentics is not really a singular toyline, rather it is a catch all of any unbranded or evergreen toys or merchandise, as well as rereleases of older toys in unbranded packaging, generally bearing the "Authentic Transformers" stamp.
The same as the Titan Changer assortment first introduced in the 2015 Robots in Disguise toyline, and has been featured in every movie tie-in line since. Many of these Authentics Titan Changers would later be repacked for the Rise of the Beasts and One toylines.
In 2026, toys under the listing name of "Transformers Core" were released. The packaging lacks any distinct name for the line besides "Transformers" and features a design style similar to contemporary Authentics packaging, thus for now they are listed here as part of Authentics. Like other Authentics releases, the "Core" line focuses on evergreen characters, but features larger size classes and is made available at major retailers like Target.
The working name for this line was "Project Storm", which appeared in several retailer and distributor listings and even made it onto the public German Toys"R"Us website and store tags.
