Gameplay
This event was the first Apex event, a minor mid-week event active for only a single hour. However, the event is run twice separately per day. It was an individual totaliser on the Mayhem game mode, with players acquiring points alone without the aid of their Alliance. As a Mayhem event, once the HQ is destroyed, players must aim to destroy as many additional buildings as possible within the allocated duration of 3 minutes to achieve more points. Like other Mayhem events, the option is given to either spend 15 fuel cells to raid but acquire more points, or spend only 5 (but receive less rewards). The top prize was a 350 Requiem Blaster Shards.
This event was also a leaderboard event, meaning players would try and rack up as many points as possible to earn better rewards depending on their placement on the leaderboard. The rewards for the player with most points were 10000 Requiem Blaster Shards and 50000 Cybertronian Alloy.
Notes
- While intended to have two runs of the event, an oversight related to the event caused a server shutdown, resulting in the second run being cancelled. The bug has allegedly been patched, and future Apex events would have a second run as usual.
