The Terrorcons find the source of the mysterious pull to be Primal Basilica, but before they can deal with that, they have to take care of the Autobots who have also just arrived there.
Synopsis
[edit]Armada Megatron's team arrives at a Primal Basilica, having followed the Dark Saber's pull there. Armada Wheeljack recalls what they learned from the Magnificence and reminds his teammates that the Prime inhabiting the structure is in "full inventory mode" and trying to draw in Artefacts of the Primes with a harmonic frequency. Sideways alerts them to presence of the Autobots, including a Star Sabre-wielding Metalhawk. Megatron challenges him to a duel, with the winner becoming the wielder of both Primal swords, perhaps putting them on the path to winning other artefacts in further duels. He orders his men to keep Ultra Magnus and the Dinobots busy while he challenges Metalhawk. Sideways cheers him on, then reassures a suspicious Wheeljack that he's a Decepticon through and through. Megatron, meanwhile, invokes the rite of single combat to Metalhawk, who accepts his challenge.

Gameplay
[edit]This event was an individual totaliser on the Mayhem gamemode, meaning players unlocked points on their own as opposed to with their Alliance. As a Mayhem event, each battle was still won by destroying the HQ, but instead of the rest of the buildings and defenses being destroyed upon them doing so, they could continuing destroying the remaining structures until the 3-minute timer is up to gain additional points. The one caveat is that these bases cost a whopping 15 fuel cells to raid, compared to alternative, easier (but lower-rewarding) 5-fuel-cell-worth bases in the same zones.
This event was also labelled as a "Legacy" event, with the top prize being the 5-star version of a then newly-reworked bot, in this case, BW Ironhide or Sea Clamp (depending on your faction).
Notes
[edit]- Following from the previous event only containing the Autobot half of story dialogue, this event would carry the Decepticon side labeled as "The Saga's Latest (Part 2 of 2)".
Continuity notes
[edit]- Wheeljack mentions that they've already spoken to the Magnificence, which Sideways provided them with at the end of "Do Not Disturb".
- Wheeljack is suspicious of Sideways' true allegiance; he's been a Autobot spy since his debut in "Questionable Comrades". He also tells him that he has plenty of knowledge about switching sides, referencing his backstory an ex-Autobot.
Errors
[edit]- Megatron claims that everyone has a Primal Basilica except himself... but his splinter faction was just based there in the last saga they appeared in, and no indication was ever made in between here and then that they lost it.
- The Dark Saber's name continues to written as one word.
- Like Swoop in the last dialogue, Sideways' model (the Decepticon) is missing from the files.
