As Star Saber and Lio Convoy try to rescue their teammates, Reverse Convoy reveals his secret.

Synopsis

[edit]

Going off the words of the injured Autobot warrior known as Reverse Convoy, Optimus Prime led a team to Sherman Dam, but they ended up ambushed and captured by Starscream and the Decepticons...

Bound to the dam, Optimus Primal cries that he can't even use his Beast Power to break out of the solitarium alloy chains, while Victory Leo is suspicious about the unlikely coincidence that they would be ambushed by the Decepticons then and here. Starscream tells the Autobots to shut their yaps, but Optimus Prime demands to know where Reverse Convoy is. Starscream just coyly turns to Gigant Bomb, asking if the husky Decepticon "knows" of whom Prime is referring to. As Starscream begins to continue his mockery, the Saber Blade swings down to release the Autobots—Star Saber has come to the rescue! More agile and fleet-footed than Starscream, Star Saber arcs his sword for the finish blow... but his helmet is suddenly destroyed by a shot out of nowhere! Reverse Convoy descends and receives recriminations from the Autobots checking on the fallen Brainmaster. Another arrives on the scene, accusing Reverse Convoy of not being who he claims he is—Lio Convoy swoops in to behead the apparent traitor with his Lion Claw.

But the torso still stands regardless of the lack of its head. A laugh bellows out as a new head comes into sight; it is Rebirth Megatron, the Dark Emperor of Destruction returned! With his Megablaster, he shoots at the dam to drown his hated enemies, forcing the Autobots into action to prevent further catastrophe. Megatron commands Starscream to take him back to base, so he can confront this "Beast Megatron", who has been exploiting his absence to lead the Decepticons in causing havoc. Starscream wants to take care of the Autobots while they're distracted, but Megatron falls back on old habits and knocks some discipline into the Seeker—with the Decepticons' rightful leader back, they'll have plenty of time to destroy the Autobots. Optimus Prime, holding the dam together, can only watch as his resurrected rival flies away with his troops.
