True One is Survive's buddy from the Beast Wars Neo portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
"Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard... or else!"

True One (トゥルーワン Turū Wan) is Survive's bat partner used for reconnaissance. True One and Survive can communicate wordlessly via a special sound wave frequency and the two get along very well together. Well, on occasion they get into arguments over who deserves more honey, but such spats are to be expected.

On the Planet Stero, Survive used True One to scout the area and located the Maximal trainees Stampy, Break, and Mach Kick searching for an Angolmois Capsule. When Survive engaged the trainees to test their mettle, he re-deployed True One to muffle Stampy and prevent an SOS from getting out.

Later on, True One provided Survive with an early warning as the Predacons arrived on the planet. Survive the Hot-Blooded Instructor
