In Japan, a special police-deco version of Ransack (complete with "Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department" kanji on his gun) titled was made available as a Toys"R"Us exclusive on October 7th 2005, given as a free gift with the purchase of 4000 yen (approximately $35 USD) worth of Transformers product.
He was initially solicited with the name Gasket Police Type (ガスケットポリスタイプ), but his individual polybag was written with his final name of Gasket Patrol Type (ガスケットパトロールタイプ)
