New Decepticon Army
After the closing of the Unicron Singularity and Galvatron's death in a duel with Optimus Prime on Cybertron's moons, the few Decepticons who had remained loyal to him up to the end joined with the Autobots. Some of them later got bored with the Autobots' "peace and love" routine and left to form the "New Decepticon Army".
They immediately stranded themselves on Mars.

Growing ever tired of the "peace and love junk" that prevailed on Cybertron and its colonies following the closing of the black hole, Ransack, Thunderblast, and Crumplezone helped themselves to a ramshackle rocket and blasted off into the galaxy, hoping to find a new Cybertronian warlord, ideally more powerful than Galvatron, to lead them in conquest. Passing by to question their intentions, Thundercracker found himself dragged into the ship and press-ganged into joining his former comrades.
Their rocket made it to Mars where it endured a comedic crash landing. Beginning
