Sharktron is a Decepticon from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Sharktron (シャークトロン Shākutoron) is a Decepticon warrior hiding in the watery depths of a cavern that leads to their battleship base.

When Rodimus Convoy Jr. walked through the cave leading to the Decepticon base, Sharktron leapt out of the water and hit the Autobot with his flail. Rodimus Jr. was able to easily use the flail's chain to throw Sharktron against a rocky wall and shoot the Decepticon with his arm blasters. The shark exploded to pieces. Rodimus Jr. Does His Part! • "Sharktron" is the Japanese name for the Sharkticons in Generation 1. It seems mangaka Ikuo Miyazoe did not have references for the Sharkticon's design or basic concept of them being a race and not an individual. In Japan, Sharkticons are sometimes considered Predacons, explaining this character's appearance before Rodimus Convoy Jr. confronts Predaking and his components.
