In the far future, the Prime Leaders (プライムリ一ダ一 Puraimu Rīdā) are the rulers of the Transformer race.

[edit]Over time, the Great Convoy system of Cybertron leadership came to an end, and they were replaced by the Prime Leaders, who maintained the cosmos. In accordance, Great Lio Convoy became Maximal[2] Senior Commander Leo Prime. [edit]- The term "Prime Leader" seems to derive from a glossary entry in Beast Wars Universe,[3] which misunderstands Optimus Primal's line in "Dark Designs" about Rhinox potentially making "one prime leader"[4] as using a proper term referring to Optimus Prime, Rodimus Prime, and Primal Prime. (Beast Wars Universe focuses on the original English version of Beast Wars, so this line is not present in the Japanese dub.)
