I-QUEUE goes over the Beast Wars on planet Gaea.

Synopsis

[edit]

Last time, I-QUEUE went over the Transformers who served under or encountered Big Convoy. Now, he will explore those who were stranded on planet Gaea, serving under Maximal Lio Convoy.

1. What rank did the Maximal Star Upper claim to have when he met Lio Convoy's crew? A. Convoy B. Hyper Convoy Brilliant Special 98 C. Lieutenant Commander D. Supreme General of the Electric Light Brigade

2. After the conclusion of the Beast Wars on Gaea, which of the following Maximals helped evolve the penguins of another world into Transformers, and became a god-like figure to them? A. Tasmania Kid B. Diver C. Apache D. Bighorn

3. Artemis and Moon are a pair of robots who watched over Gaea and recorded the events of the Beast Wars on it. What is their origin? A. They are time-traveling Cybertronians B. They are Protectors, who serve the Alternity C. They are relics, left behind by the extinct inhabitants of planet Gaea D. They are travelers of the multiverse

4. Which Maximal does Artemis have a crush on? A. Diver B. Apache C. Scuba D. Lio Convoy

5. Lio Junior was created on planet Gaea, and was the "son" of Lio Convoy. How was he created? A. He was a clone created by the Predacons B. His damaged stasis pod scanned Lio Convoy C. He was built by the Insectrons D. He was formed by the Angolmois Energy's interaction with Lio Convoy's Energon Matrix

I-QUEUE proceeds to explain that the planet Gaea was initially a mystery to the Maximals. Teeming with wild animal life, there were also signs of a long-dead highly advanced civilization. The Predacons exploited the machinery of this extinct race, along with the mysterious Angolmois Energy, more powerful than standard energon. Eventually, Galvatron used his massive warship, the Nemesis, to suck out all of the Angolmois Energy on Gaea, storing it into capsules. To prevent Galvatron from using it for evil, the Maximals sent the capsules throughout the cosmos, where they hoped no one would find it. Some time after these Beast Wars, Gaea's origins were revealed: it was the future of planet Earth, long after the extinction of humanity.

Transformers references

[edit]
  • The first question goes over the events from the 5th issue of the Beast Wars II comic, and is illustrated with a panel of Star Upper in robot mode from said manga (art by Shōji Imaki). B is the correct answer; Lieutenant Commander was the rank held by Generation 1 Sky Lynx.
  • Bighorn is the correct answer for question 2, as seen in issue #5 of the Beast Wars Neo comic. The question is illustrated with a screencap of him, Lio Convoy, and Apache from Beast Wars II episode "The Lake Trap".
  • The correct answer for question 3 is C; the question is illustrated with a screencap of Artemis and Moon from Beast Wars II episode "Who Is the Leader!?" The Protectors and the Alternity were seen in Alternity fiction, serving as guardians of the Multiverse.
  • Scuba is the correct answer for question 4; the question is illustrated with screencap of Artemis from Beast Wars II episode "Who Is the Strongest Warrior!?"
  • D is the correct answer for question 5, as seen in Beast Wars II episode "Enter Lio Junior"; the question is illustrated with a screencap of Lio Junior from said episode. Option A was the origin of Copy Convoy, as seen in "The Black Lio Convoy".
  • The review summarizes the events of Beast Wars II, and uses various screencaps from the show; a screencap of Gaea from "The New Forces Arrive!"; a screencap of Bighorn and Apache from "The Insect Corps Arrive"; a screencap of Megastorm, Starscream, and BB from the first title sequence; and a screencap of the Nemesis from "The Artificial Planet Nemesis". Gaea was eventually explicitly stated to be Earth in Lio Convoy's Robotmasters bio, after several hints from the show.
