[edit]Transformers references
[edit]- Axiom Nexus was the setting for the Club's TransTech stories, a city on a Cybertron with super-advanced Transformers who had never gone to war, filled with Cybertronians and others from countless dimensions.
- The Cybernet Infocore is a joint reference to the Cybernet Space Cube from the Generation 2 cartoon and the Cybertron InfoCore from Beast Machines.
- The first question refers to the events from the Transformers episode "War Dawn". The image it uses to represent these events is from "Battle Lines, Part 1" (pencils and inks by Dan Khanna, colors by Evan Gauntt and Jesse Wittenrich), where they were flashbacked to. Deathsaurus is the odd one out of the choices, being the Decepticon leader from Victory.
- The second question is about the Marvel Transformers "Matrix Quest" storyline, illustrated with the panel of Thunderwing standing triumphant over Optimus Prime from Transformers issue #65 (pencils and inks by Geoff Senior, colors by Nelson Yomtov). Of the options, Pequod was seen in issue #64, Cheyne in #63, and VsQs in issue #65. "Rotlegieb" is presumably a misspelling of Gottlieb, a town on Pequood also seen in #64.
- The third question covers Wing Saber's history in Energon cartoon, using a screencap of him in his original "Wing Dagger" form from "Shockblast: Rampage". The correct answer is Padlock; of the others, datastream is a generic word; Datamine was a Decepticon seen in Club prose story "A Team Effort"; and Lockdown is an unaffiliated Cybertronian bounty hunter, introduced in Animated and having spread to other continuities since then.
- The fourth and bonus questions are about Animated Rosanna, using a cropped piece of art from BotCon 2011's "The Stunti-Con Job" (pencils and inks by Marcelo Matere, colors by Thomas Deer and Jesse Wittenrich). A few of her pets (including Zaur) were seen on the Animated cartoon, but it was The AllSpark Almanac II that established that they were her pets and that Grandus is her biggest fan. The other choices from the fourth answer include Top-Heavy and Tyrannitron, Action Master partners to Generation 1 Skyfall and Snarl, and Clump, one of the Anibots, prototypical versions of the Predacons who were seen in an early draft of The Transformers: The Movie. In particular, Clump was the prototypical version of Headstrong. The bonus question, meanwhile, mentions Teletraan 10, an Autobot gynoid from 15 Go! Go! who worked with Rosanna's Generation 1 counterpart.
- Barely visible and almost entirely covered by I-QUEUE at the top is a list of Transformers names in Ancient Autobot (created by Jim Sorenson based on symbols seen in The Transformers episode "Cosmic Rust".) In order, they read: Abominus, Accel, Acid Storm, Aerobot, Aero-Bot, Aero-Bot II, Afterburner, Ai, Air Hammer, Air Hunter, Air Raid, Airlift, Airlift Andy, Airazor, Airraptor, Airwave, Alan, Alert, Alpha Quintesson, Alpha Trion, Antagony, Anti-Blaze, Apeface, Apelinq, Apex Bomber, Apexus, Apollo, Aquablast, Aquafend, Aquastar, Arachnid, Arcee, Archadis, Ariel Paradron-Type, Ark, Armordillo, Armorhide, Artfire, Ascentor, Astro-Hook, Astro-Line, Astro-Sinker, Astroscope, Astrotrain, Atlas, Auto, Autobot, Autocrusher, Autojetter, Autolauncher, Autorooper, Autostinger, Autotrooper, Axer, Axor, B'Boom, Backblast, Backfire, Backstop, Backstreet, and Backtrack.
