Classics (disambiguation)

The term Classics has been applied to three Transformers toylines.

• Pretender Classics, a subline of Pretenders that featured returning characters, released in 1989.

• Classics, a European exclusive subline of Generation 1 reissues released in 1990.

• Classics, a franchise set in the Generation 1 continuity family, featuring redesigns of prominent characters alongside all-new characters, released in 2006.

The term Classics sometimes could also mean the characters from early Generation 1 franchise.

The Classic Series and Generation 1 Series portions of the 2008 Universe franchise are also sometimes referred to by fans as Classics, due to their similarity to the 2006 Classics franchise.
