Shatterpoint is a <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Maximal" title="Maximal">Maximal</a> from the <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Beast_Era" title="Beast Era">Beast Era</a> portion of the <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Generation_1" class="mw-redirect" title="Generation 1">Generation 1</a> <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Continuity_family" title="Continuity family">continuity family</a>.

</div> Shatterpoint is a highly-trained member of the elite <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Maximal_Command_Security_Force" title="Maximal Command Security Force">Maximal Command Security Force</a>. His job is to uphold the will of the <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Maximal_Imperium" title="Maximal Imperium">Maximal Imperium</a> on <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Cybertron_%28planet%29" title="Cybertron (planet)">Cybertron</a> in the name of the <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Pax_Cybertronia" title="Pax Cybertronia">Pax Cybertronia</a>. His specialty is crowd control, predicting the mob mentality and adjusting battle plans to handle large groups of opponents. He's a crack shot with his positron cannon, which can shut down or even briefly manipulate a target's motor control functions.

• Shatterpoint, like all of the MCSF, uses the <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Cybertron_%28franchise%29" title="Cybertron (franchise)">Cybertron</a>-series <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Clocker_%28Cybertron%29" title="Clocker (Cybertron)">Clocker</a> toy as a base (with an <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Energon_%28franchise%29" title="Energon (franchise)">Energon</a> <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Shockblast_%28Energon%29" title="Shockblast (Energon)">Shockblast</a> head), though no official Shatterpoint toy exists (and probably never will). His color scheme is based somewhat loosely on the <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Generation_2" class="mw-redirect" title="Generation 2">Generation 2</a> <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Autobot" title="Autobot">Autobot</a> <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Deluge_%28Autobot%29" title="Deluge (Autobot)">Deluge</a>.
