Sireen is an <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Autobot" title="Autobot">Autobot</a> <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Micromaster" title="Micromaster">Micromaster</a> from the <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Operation_Combination" title="Operation Combination">Operation Combination</a> and <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Micromaster_Collection" title="Micromaster Collection">Micromaster Collection</a> portions of the <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Generation_1_%28franchise%29" title="Generation 1 (franchise)">Generation 1</a> <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Continuity_family" title="Continuity family">continuity family</a>.

Sireen (サイレーン Sairēn) is a member of the Turbo Team, six urban-operations Micromasters who can combine to form <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Sixturbo" title="Sixturbo">Sixturbo</a>. The Turbo Team fight alongside the <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Guard_City" title="Guard City">Guard City</a> team and other Micromasters to protect the Earth from the forces of the mighty Decepticon führer <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Scrash" title="Scrash">Scrash</a>.

In an alternate-timeline/universe, Sireen is an Autobot Micromaster who serves the interesting dual functions of medic and strategist. He is outfitted with an overhead storage rack for miscellaneous medical equipment (which looks suspiciously like a pair of guns). Sireen is reportedly a longtime friend of the Autobot Micromasters' other strategist, <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/D-Go" title="D-Go">D-Go</a> of the <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Sixliner" title="Sixliner">Sixliner</a> Team.

He and <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Joe_%28Micromaster%29" title="Joe (Micromaster)">Joe</a> developed an antivirus program to return the other Sixturbo Team members to normal. In order to get the program into their systems, Sireen surrendered to the others and convinced them to combine into Sixturbo, activating the program just as they combined. Sireen was briefly turned into a Decepticon himself just before the antivirus program took effect, turning all six components back into Autobots.

After this incident, Sireen modified this antivirus program to create the <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Vaccine_Program_Gun" title="Vaccine Program Gun">Vaccine Program Gun</a>, which would theoretically do the opposite of the Reverse Evolution virus, turning Decepticons into Autobots. However, not only did the weapon fail to work as intended, but it had the unexpected effect of turning <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Sixwing" title="Sixwing">Sixwing</a> into Berserker Sixwing.

  • Sixturbo (Micromaster Sixteam, 1992)
Japanese ID number: TF-03
The original version of Sireen was available only as part of

a Sixturbo gift set in Japan. Aside from the ambulance mode, Sireen can form either leg of any of the similar-build Six-Teams (Sixturbo, <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Sixbuilder" title="Sixbuilder">Sixbuilder</a> or <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Sixwing" title="Sixwing">Sixwing</a>). The original Six-Teams are considered among the more difficult Japanese Generation 1 pieces to find.

Sireen uses the same mold as <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Universe_%282003_toyline%29" title="Universe (2003 toyline)">Universe</a> <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/First_Aid_%28Universe%29" title="First Aid (Universe)">First Aid</a>.
The connector socket for Sixturbo's foot-plate is approximately 5mm wide, making Sireen compatible with <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Powerlinx" title="Powerlinx">Powerlinx</a> plugs, though the placement is awkard in most instances.

<a name="Micromaster_Collection"></a><h3><span class="editsection">[<a href="http://tfwiki.net/w2/index.php?title=Sireen&action=edit&section=6" title="Edit section: Micromaster Collection">edit</a>]</span> <span class="mw-headline">Micromaster Collection</span></h3>

  • Sireen (Micromaster, 2002)
In 2002, the entire Sixturbo team was re-released as part of

the "Micromaster Collection", in individual boxes with a number visible to show which mold was inside each box. For this release, all of the decals from the original version were replaced with <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Paint_application" title="Paint application">paint applications</a>. Sireen came with the right foot to Sixturbo in this release.

In every case of twelve Turbo Team Micromasters, two of them

were solid-black-plastic "Reverse Evolution" Decepticon-allied variations. All six Micromasters were available in this manner.
