Submission fields are pieces of technology from the <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/The_Transformers_%28cartoon%29" title="The Transformers (cartoon)">cartoon portion</a> of the <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Generation_1_%28franchise%29" title="Generation 1 (franchise)">Generation 1</a> <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Continuity_family" title="Continuity family">continuity family</a>.

[[Image:|right|250px|thumb|Arrgh...forced...to...contribute...to...periodicals...]] Submission fields are used by the <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Quintesson" title="Quintesson">Quintessons</a> to subdue prisoners so that they can be approached without any danger to their captors. They consist of some sort of <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Force_field" title="Force field">force field</a> which immobilises the prisoner, pinning them to the floor, but doesn't otherwise harm them.

The field pinned Marissa to the ground, allowing the Quintesson to move in.
