Cab is wearing a <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Laster" title="Laster">Laster</a>-type while Shūta is wearing a <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Braver" title="Braver">Braver</a>-type. Blacker is about to guess (egotistically) what type <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Jean_Minakaze" title="Jean Minakaze">Jean</a> is wearing, when Cab and Shūta inform him that it's a <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Star_Saber_%28G1%29" title="Star Saber (G1)"><b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 102);">Star</b> <b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(160, 255, 255);">Saber</b></a>-type (ego deflated).
On the desolated <a href="http://tfwiki.net/w2/index.php?title=Energy_Planet_X&action=edit" class="new" title="Energy Planet X">Energy Planet X</a>, Jean and <b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 102);">Star</b> <b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(160, 255, 255);">Saber</b> have been in pursuit of <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Liokaiser" title="Liokaiser">Liokaiser</a>, only to be stuck always one step behind. The frustration at last gets the best of them and the two begin to fight. <b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 102);">Star</b> <b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(160, 255, 255);">Saber</b> blames Jean for slowing them down, while Jean simply calls <b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 102);">Star</b> <b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(160, 255, 255);">Saber</b> mean names like "blockhead" and tells him that he's the reason <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Solon_Kitakaze" title="Solon Kitakaze">Solon</a> always teases him. <b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 102);">Star</b> <b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(160, 255, 255);">Saber</b> cannot believe such treason coming from his own son, but Jean still calls him names.
Hurt, <b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 102);">Star</b> <b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(160, 255, 255);">Saber</b> begins to recall the days when he was a child 500,000 years ago and how the young bully, <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Deathsaurus" title="Deathsaurus">Deathsaurus</a>, constantly used to tease him and call him names like "blockhead". <b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 102);">Star</b> <b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(160, 255, 255);">Saber</b> begins to realize that Jean isn't just a soldier, but a child, too.
Pouting, Jean kicks a piece of scrap into the distance, where it smacks against the unseen head of Liokaiser. Liokaiser, with the planet's Energy Pod under his arm, pops out of his hiding place and explains that while Deathsaurus is recovering from an illness, the Autobots will have to settle for a fight with him instead.
<b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 102);">Star</b> <b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(160, 255, 255);">Saber</b> and Jean decide to put aside their differences and form the "V-<b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 102);">Star</b>" transformation so that they can defeat Liokaiser. Liokaiser quickly grabs them and prepares to destroy them, when all six of his component <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Breastforce" title="Breastforce">Breastforce</a> members begin to argue over who is more deserving of the honor.
<b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 102);">Star</b> <b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(160, 255, 255);">Saber</b> and Jean take the opportunity to split into the "V-Separation" and change into the "Advanced Guard Combination". As Jean controls the V-<b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 102);">Star</b> and bombards Liokaiser with firepower, <b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 102);">Star</b> Saber's Brainmaster unit hits him in the face <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Captain_America" title="Captain America">Captain America</a>-style with his "Shield Attack". Liokaiser drops the Energy Pod and retreats.
With the battle won, both Jean and <b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 102);">Star</b> <b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(160, 255, 255);">Saber</b> apologize for their earlier fight. They then agree that, even though they don't always get along, they will never let it interfere with their duty, lest they end up like the Breastforce.

- The <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Victories" title="Victories">Victories</a> don their ridiculous armor for the first time in this issue. The relationship of the armor to its corresponding <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Autobot" title="Autobot">Autobot</a> goes much deeper than appearances, as you'll find out in "<a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Shine%21_The_Five_Stars_of_Victory" title="Shine! The Five Stars of Victory">Shine! The Five Stars of Victory</a>".
- It is clearly stated in this issue that both <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Star_Saber_%28G1%29" title="Star Saber (G1)"><b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 102);">Star</b> <b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(160, 255, 255);">Saber</b></a> and <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Deathsaurus" title="Deathsaurus">Deathsaurus</a> were children who grew up over the course of 500,000 years in a manner similar to how <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Human" title="Human">humans</a> grow up. Though logically ridiculous, this is actually consistent with the lyrics of the <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Victory_%28cartoon%29" title="Victory (cartoon)">Victory</a> cartoon's ending theme, "<a href="http://tfwiki.net/w2/index.php?title=Autobots_Banzai&action=edit" class="new" title="Autobots Banzai">Autobots Banzai</a>", which accuses <b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 102);">Star</b> <b style="color: black; background-color: rgb(160, 255, 255);">Saber</b> of stealing snacks and wetting the bed when he was a child. More Transformer <a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Baby_Dinoforce" title="Baby Dinoforce">children</a> will appear in "<a href="http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Heroic%21_The_Victory_War" title="Heroic! The Victory War">Heroic! The Victory War</a>".
- The word "noroma" (のろま), which is a childish insult meaning
"blockhead", "dunce" or "stupid-face", is used repeatedly throughout this issue, perhaps to illustrate the overtly childish nature of all the bickering.
