The gas station is a Decepticon Micromaster base from the Generation 1 continuity family.
You can trust a name like Greasepit! It's an upstanding American name!

Hey buddy, yeah, you. You need a fill-up? Come on in! Yeah, come on in, just drive on up the ramp to Greasepit's gas station. Naw, don't worry, the ramp ain't too steep. Naw, buddy, c'mon, would I lie to yas? It's fine! It's not too steep! It's A-D-A compliant! Yeah, ADA, and FHA, too, and FDA, yeah, and NBC. It's safe! Pull on up!

Alright, there ya go, come on in. Fill 'er up! What, those things down there? Naw, those ain't ion cannons, naw. They're, uh, gasoline storage tank cannons, yeah, that's the ticket. What's that? Your fuel gauge is going down? Don't worry, don't worry, that's normal, it's normal. It'll fix itself once you start drivin'. Siphon? Whaddaya talkin' about? Greasepit don' lie!

So, yeah, since you're a special customer, I'll tell yas a little secret. This here gas station? It can turn all kinds of energy sources into Transformer-friendly energon. And get this -- it can also turn itself into a battle station. Yeah, a battle station! It's got cannons, rail guns, a sonic disruption tower, the whole shootin' works. Ha! "Shootin' works". Dat's pretty good, eh?

Gas Station Brand Gas Stations, now operating in affiliation with the Convenience Store chain of convenience stores.
  • Greasepit (Micromaster Station, 1989)
  • Accessories: Greasepit Micromaster, sign, missile, ramp

The gas station was sold in a small boxed package, along with Greasepit. Stickers along the "building" portion simulate the inside of a garage repair bay and a convenience store, and advertise Super Gasoline Z-1. Two simulated gas pumps and a "Gas Station" sign complete the operation.
Ramps allow the gas station to connect to other Micromaster stations to form larger "city" complexes.
In Japan, the station was sold without changes as the Autobot Glasspit's "Gasoline Base".

Trivia

  • This and the other three Micromaster Stations were later re-used in one of Takara's "Brave" lines, omitting the Micromasters and adding a pair of non-transforming mini-figures from the series.
  • It is one of a handful of Micromaster bases that lack any sort of transport mode.
