Jazz (G1)
Jazz is an Autobot in the Generation 1 continuity. He is also known as Meister.
Jazz is Optimus Prime's right-hand man. Unlike Prowl, Prime's military strategist, Jazz responds well to change and improvisation. Whatever surprises the Decepticons spring, Jazz can deal.
An admirer of Earth music such as rock'n'roll, Jazz loves culture. More than most other Autobots, he has his finger on the pulse of Earth trends and lingo. He knows who was voted off all of last week's reality television shows, and can cite you every entry of this week's Top 40. In this realm, the other Autobots consider him somewhat of a freak.
...Or they're jealous. He does have quite the human female entourage.
