The Forum of Enlightenment is a place on Cybertron in the Dreamwave portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Shortly after Optimus Prime became the leader of the Autobots, Megatron devised a plan to isolate him from the other Autobots. Megatron had the Constructicons activate the Planetary Engines, forcing plasma to surge through one of the vents, located above the Forum of Enlightenment. The plasma surge utterly destroyed the forum, killing all Transformers there. Somehow realizing that Megatron was behind the event, Optimus Prime went down to investigate on his own...and walked right into the Insecticons' grasp. The War Within issue 2
