I feel I should point out that despite a megabyte being 1024kb, the Windows OS for some odd reason has megabytes set to an even thousand (same with gigabytes), so it actually does display a floppy disk as being 1.44mb in size. -- Dark T Zeratul 11:57, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Not to mention that a megabyte can be 1,000,000 bytes, 1,048,576 bytes, or 1,024,000 bytes, depending on who you're talking to, and how deranged they are. JW 12:57, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
