A member of the fairly dastardly, mustache-twirling organization known as the Machination, Kloss is a mole in the government entity known as Skywatch.

When Grimlock escaped, Kloss was ready there to do the same to the other Dynobots so Dante could use them to destroy Grimlock. Spotlight: Grimlock

Kloss allowed Skywatch's to believe their test of the other Dynobots to go flawlessly so they would be unaware that he had placed a virus into them as well, and would be under Scorponok's control to attack Grimlock. Maximum Dinobots issue 1
