Clutch (G1)

Clutch is an Autobot drone-unit from the Generation 1 continuity family.

I want to ride my bi-cy-cle, I want to ride my bike. I want to ride my bi-cy-cle, I want to ride it where I like.

Clutch is a small, scooter-like robot carried in the trunk section of Cybertron ambassador Crosscut. Its main function is to store all of Crosscut's memories and datatrax, so in the event that Crosscut is captured or killed, Clutch can return to the Autobots with all of Crosscut's information.

It is not to be confused with the Autoscout.

Generation 1

• Crosscut (Autobot, 2002)

Clutch is a tiny, non-transforming scooter that fits in the trunk section of the Crosscut toy. This is a restored accessory from the pre-Transformers Diaclone version of the "Honda City" type toy that was dropped from Skids. Clutch can seat a Diaclone pilot figure on its back. Naturally, it was only available with the E-Hobby exclusive Crosscut.
