Prime Threat is the first volume in the Kid Rhino VHS collection of the original cartoon series, released in 1999. This tape contains two episodes with the theme of Optimus Prime being used against his own troops:

• City of Steel

This tape was also available in a special sleeved three-pack with Volume 2 and Volume 3.
