Transformers: The Thirteen

Transformers: The Thirteen is a series to be published by IDW Publishing starting sometime in 2009. It will be a large project, and Simon Furman's next undertaking after Maximum Dinobots, focusing on the thirteen original Transformers.

Items of note

• Hasbro has become highly involved in this since it was pitched, and Furman has stated a lot of effort is being put in to ensure it's "something that comprehensively underpins the whole TF-universe in a very major and enduring way".

• The series has been "shuffled" back a few times, currently due to the twin pressures of the second live-action film and the 25th Anniversary in 2009. When originally pitched, the intended artist was Nick Roche ("and may well be again, who knows").
