The menacing Guiltaur storms the battlefield! But there's more to this Decepticon lackey than meets the eye...

Summary

Off the coast of Japan, the Quintessons summon forth their newest and deadliest creation: the Great Gun-Soldier Guiltaur.

Elsewhere, Galvatron has summoned Rodimus Prime to a one-on-one duel and promptly been defeated. As Rodimus claims victory, though, Guiltaur approaches in vehicle mode and shoots him in the back. Galvatron chastises his newest warrior for being late to the ambush and orders him to transform.

Guiltaur complies, transforming into robot mode and unleashing his "Revolver Laser" and "Right Arm Decepticon Gun" attacks onto Rodimus. With Rodimus down for the count, Galvatron orders Guiltaur to charge up his finishing move. Guiltaur proceeds to do so and once all preparations are complete, unleashes a devestating blast from his huge freakin' gun. Rodimus is blown out of sight.

With victory in hand, Galvatron begins to ponder to himself how the Quintessons could have created such a powerful and trust-worthy warrior. Guiltaur sees this as the most ironic opportunity to strike and proceeds to bash Galvatron in the face. Galvatron is shocked by Guiltaur's betrayal; the Great Gun-Soldier declaring his intentions to replace Galvatron as Emperor of Destruction. Outmatched, Galvatron finds himself kicked down a hill where he lands side-by-side with Rodimus Prime.

Galvatron suggests a brief truce between the two foes, as Guiltaur wields the power of both Optimus Prime and Megatron, meaning that the only way they can hope to defeat him is to team-up. Wanting to avenge the defiled memory of Optimus Prime, Rodimus agrees to the truce.

Taking Guiltaur by surprise, Rodimus hits him with his "Rodimus Crash" attack (basically, he runs over him in vehicle mode) while Galvatron transforms to cannon mode and disables Guiltaur's revolver weaponry. With their opening available, Rodimus and Galvatron finish the job with a "Rodimus Kick" and a "Galvatron Kick", respectively.

With Guiltaur's body destroyed, the true culprit, Starscream's ghost, quickly vacates the premises. With the threat defeated, Rodimus and Galvatron walk away from the battlefield, declaring that they can wait until another day to defeat the other.
