Fleetway was a British comic book publisher, home to such iconic British comics characters as <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Dare" class="extiw" title="wikipedia:Dan_Dare">Dan Dare</a> and <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judge_Dredd" class="extiw" title="wikipedia:Judge_Dredd">Judge Dredd</a>.

In the mid-1990s, Fleetway secured the license to publish an ultimately short-lived Generation 2 comic in the UK.

In 1991, Fleetway was acquired by the Danish media conglomerate <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egmont_%28media_group%29" class="extiw" title="wikipedia:Egmont_(media_group)">Egmont</a>; in 2002, Egmont phased out the Fleetway name.
