Well, it had to have been better than ET.

Transformers: Battle to Save the Earth is a computer game for the Commodore 64 written by <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Crane_%28programmer%29" class="extiw" title="wikipedia:David_Crane_(programmer)">David Crane</a> with music by <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell_Lieblich" class="extiw" title="wikipedia:Russell_Lieblich">Russell Lieblich</a>, released in 1986 by Activision.

The intro for this game features probably the most amount of speech of any Commodore 64 game. The speech tells the history of the Transformers, with most of the dialog taken from the narration at the beginning of the first episode of the TV series.

Notes

  • The creator of the game was obviously unaware that Hot Rod and Rodimus Prime are the same character, since they both appear in the game together at the same time.
