- Rodimus Prime is an Autobot from the Transformers Animated continuity family.
Rodimus Prime is more than just a high ranking Autobot officer, he's "the "Chosen One"! He is extremely popular amongst his fellow Autobot brethren, and has mastered several different battle skills, including servo-to-servo combat. While he has mastered the use of various defensive weaponry, his personal weapon of choice is his uniquely-designed energy bow. Rodimus is a born leader and strives to become the next Magnus. In other words, he's "practically perfect in every way".

Rodimus Prime and his team, Red Alert, Hot Shot, Brawn, and Ironhide, defended space bridge 687-030 from Team Chaar. Rodimus ordered Brawn and Ironhide to fall back so they could protect the bridge, but a combo attack from Oil Slick and Cyclonus took down both Autobots. Rodimus managed to evade Spittor's tentacle-attack and incapacitate the monster, but he was quickly knocked aside by Blackout's power-stomp attack.
As the Decepticons moved in, Rodimus defiantly growled that they'd have to go through him. In response, Oil Slick threw a vial of Cosmic Rust at Rodimus' feet, which quickly spread across his body and paralyzed him. TransWarped Rodimus survived the attack, and after the battle he spent his time recovering by removing the rust.[1]

- Derrick Wyatt said that Rodimus will be getting a toy, and Hasbro pretty blatantly hinted at it too. Listings for a Deluxe Rodimus appeared on Wal-Mart's computer system, along with Arcee and Blackout.
