Plasma pulse cannon

The plasma pulse cannon is a weapon favored by malcontented Autobots from the Generation 1 continuity family.

"I can't believe that jerk Afterburner stole my weapon,"

Afterburner's a big ball of rage and irritation looking for an excuse to blow someone's head off. Any Decepticon dumb enough to give him one will be at the mercy of his rapid-fire Plasma Pulse Cannon, which shoots (surprise) a rapid-fire stream of explosive energy packets.

Perrenial loser Broadside also uses a high-energy Plasma-Pulse Gun, which more than likely works the same way as Afterburner's Plasma Pulse Cannon, only with more griping.
