• Huffer was first revealed on April 1st 2009 on Derrick Wyatt's blog, as part of a group shot of characters who may or may not actually appear in the cartoon.

• Huffer's character model is based pretty heavily on Mario, mustachioed plumber and protagonist of about a billion Nintendo games. Pipes also looks like his brother Luigi.
