Dark Glass

Dark Glass was an unproduced episode planned for Beast Wars third season, written by Christy Marx.
The reported plot involved Ratrap finding a recording of the deceaced Dinobot's personality that he had left in the Maximal computer in an earlier episode and trying to implant it in Megatron's clone Dinobot II to restore his dead friend. This would have initially failed but set up Dinobot's betrayle of Megatron in the series final episodes. Without Dark Glass Dinobot II remembering the death of the original and taking on his personality seems to come from nowhere.
It is believed the episode was pulled because Hasbro felt the concept was too dark. A script of some sort reportedly exists but has never been publicly available.
