Axalon (BW)
The starship crewed by the Maximals in the Beast Wars. The Axalon was an exploration vessel. When Megatron's crew stole the Golden Disk and their ship, The Darkside, it was the only ship with Transwarp engines close enough to pursue him.
Her crew at the start of Beast Wars appears to have been newly assembled and the captain, Optimus Primal, new to command, however the Axalon itself had already been in service for at least a while, as the Beast Machines era Dinobot Airraptor once served aboard her before the Beast Wars, as interplanetary surveyor and navigator.
After crashing on Prehistoric Earth the Axalon became the Maximal's base of operations, until it was further destroyed by Megatron's forces. After that, its remains were salvaged as best as possible to help fortify the Ark against Predacon attack.
It is unknown whether the Maximals were ever able to fully remove its wreckage or if the remails still lie burried somewhere on Earth.
