- Fortress Maximus is a fortified stronghold in the Animated continuity.
The central base of the Cybertron Elite Guard, Fortress Maximus boasts significant amounts of firepower dedicated to the defense of Cybertron. Naturally, this requires a fair amount of energon to be diverted to it if it's to bring its full arsenal to bear.
