Colonel Sharp, United States Marine Corps commander of the SOCCENT Forward Operations Base in Qatar, was faced with an unusual situation when a rogue MH-53 Pave Low helicopter that was reportedly shot down months ago encroached upon his command's airspace and refused to identify itself or comply with his warnings to leave the area. When it touched down on the base, instead of disembarking a crew as would be expected, the helicopter changed form, becoming a giant robot that laid waste to anythign that opposed it before attacking the operations command center. Though Sharp personally stopped the machine from downloading all the information from the base's main server, he was presumably killed when the base was subsequently destroyed. Transformers (2007)
