Some Boring stuff about Phil you're probably not interested in anyways

Phil is some 20 year-old dude that still collects toys and watches cartoons. He grew up with Beast Wars, then Beast Machines, then finally got around to seeing the original Transformers Movie. He watched a few episodes of G1, but never got into it that much. Awesome character designs though. He believes that every Transformers series has at least some redeemable qualities. He also will probably end up adding more to this page eventually...

What Phil loves

• The Beast Era, its related fiction, and Transformers in general that become beasts.
• Minicons
• Bayformers (It was AWESOME!)
• Transformers Animated. (Hopefully, we'll get a follow-up with a comic book series. Oh, who am I kidding? Of course we will!)
• Shattered Glass fiction
• Gender diversity in Transformers figurines.
• Anything to make the new fiction stand out from what there was before.
• G1 characters getting updated toys. Because I'm not paying 500$ for a brick of plastic.
• Figures with alternative transformation schemes or components. Makes repaints more interesting!
• The ladies.

What Phil dislikes

• Unoriginal/boring storytelling.
• The fact that most fans' expectations lead to some things never being changed around anymore in new Transformers series. Optimus is gonna be a red truck again? Gee, whiz, didn't see that one coming!
• "True Fans" 'nuff said.

What Phil wish Transformers would come out with

• A Botanica figure.
• Beast Triple Changers. No, not that. I mean, something that has two separate, organic beast modes, and one robot mode. The closest we got were the Mutants even if those are ridiculously cool...
• More Masterpiece toys.
• Some super-high quality anime shorts for Transformers. Like, Batman: Gotham Knight, or Animatrix level quality.
• More new molds of Maximals and Predacons for the Universe line.
• Just more toys that become organic beasts in general. More... MORE! MOOOOOOOORE!

Phil's Personal Canon

• The Marvel Crossovers figures aren't mechs... They're Transformers who were inspired by Earth's greatest heroes/villains and took up their mantles to stop/commit crimes back on Cybertron. (Seriously... Why would the Hulk need a mech? And why make a mech that transformers into a giant motorcycle with no driver?)
• He has an extensive one that incorporates both the cartoon, and both the 3H and IDW versions of the Beast Era (with a few tweaks here and there to make them work together of course.) In addition to a few bits he's thrown in too to explain where some G1 characters are. He's too lazy to type it all out here though.
• Fox Kids! Transmetal Waspinator is Transmetal Buzz Saw
• As a matter of fact, he treats most BW Fox Kids toys as separate characters. (There are a few obvious exceptions.
• To get to the events of Beast Machines, Waspinator took the the slow path home.
• Bat Optimus Primal and Gator Megatron are their G1 counterparts in new bodies.
• Dirge (Animated) was brought to life by Starscream <slash>offscream</slash> offscreen, but immediately took off to feed his greed and gluttony, and was not heard of again...
