To keep Blaster occupied during the preparations for the Ark's launch, Optimus Prime gave him a group of Scrounge units to whip into shape like a drill sargent. Later, in Optimus Prime's absence, Rodimus took command of the Ark, getting rid of the Autobots who were too loyal to Prime. Blaster remained with the ship on its way to Earth, and was on the bridge when Astrotrain attacked it. Blaster was eager to send the Scrounges out, but Rodimus had other plans. Unfortunately, he was too late; Astrotrain sabotaged the Ark, causing it to plummet to Earth. Do Over
